The Beneteau 50 was a very popular luxury cruising yacht with 200 examples launched between 1995 and 2004. Now a very popular yacht among bluewater yachts due to its good upwind sailing performance, hull speed, handling, livability and storage capacity, the Beneteau designed by Bruce Farr (hull) and Armel Briand (interior) has become a true cult classic.
Benefiting from the interior layout of the master cabin, it offers a fantastic solidly built platform, ideal for liveaboard cruising and comes in stunning interior and exterior condition.
The Beneteau 50 was a forerunner in presenting a cockpit well separated into two distinct areas: one for the helmsman, with all the manoeuvres at the stern, two wheels and two huge winches placed in front of him at the safest point. The other area was quite tidy and allowed full relaxation for up to eight people. This design has now become universal among modern large cruising yachts.
